Joseph's Gingerbread Boy

 "I've run away from a little old woman. I've run away from a little old man. I've run away from a cow. I've run away from a horse... and I can run away from you. I can, I can."

One of Austin's favorite stories is The Gingerbread Boy by Paul Galdone. Joseph and Austin decided to try making their own gingerbread boy a few weeks ago, and they did a fine job.

Of course, Austin was thrilled to eat his gingerbread boy even though gingerbread isn't really that tasty. I think Joseph was expecting something a little more sugary.
